How to be the Happy Rasgulla!

Just imagine you are a yummy rasgulla , sweet as divinity. You, the sweetest rasgulla, are sitting on a plate. The plate is shiny white, clean and sparkling.
But after sometime, the waiter places another dish, the spicy fiery dragon chicken on the table.
And then he places some chilli paneer next.
You, the rasgulla , sit there, watching the dragon chicken sizzle with sauce in its pride. Then you turn around and see the chill paneer showing off its chilli flakes with a smirk.
You feel like the most unwanted dish on the table. You feel small and incompetitive. If you as a rasgulla had legs, you would rather jump off the table.
This is exactly how we feel when we interact with negative people right?
We forget how sweet and valuable as a person WE ourselves our and start focussing on how spicy and arrogant the others are. Sometimes we even go to the extent of doubting our own intrinsic values or capabilities.

Most of the times, we forget how our MIND manages to keep us trapped in our negative thought process. Perspective is what defines us. A dog may be a worthless canine for some. The same dog may be the most loyal and adorable creature for some others.

In a world of neck deep competition, most of us are surrounded by manipulative and provocative people. Now most of these  people have a one-line justification to their manipulative streaks, "I am just doing my job, okay"
Now that we have established the problem, let's get to the solution. Let's get back to being the rasgulla!
Now you may ask what else should the poor rasgulla have thought in that fiery atmosphere?

What the rasgulla should have thought!

If you are the enlightened rasgulla, you would remind yourself that however spicy the dragon chicken might be, however saucy the chilli paneer might be, neither of them could ever be as sweet as you. However hard they tried.
The dragon chicken will not change. The chilli paneer will not stop showing off its chilli flakes.
But the perspective of the rasgulla CAN change. If the same rasgulla was undeterred by the spiciness and sizzles around, it will automatically hold its ground (on the table :p)

The Happy Rasgulla

The moment, the rasgulla valued itself, it sat there, in all its glory, on its small silver platter, waiting to be devoured after the spicy dragon chicken, fully proud of its worth as a sweet dish that completes the 5- course royal meal of life!
